Spring Cleaning in Oliver

Document shredding by donation and bottle drive in partnership with the Oliver Youth Ambassadors. All proceeds benefit the Oliver Food Bank.

Bake Sale and Candy Grams
Valley First Armstrong branch are holding an all day bake sale and candy gram event on Valentine's Day! All proceeds in support of the Armstrong Food Bank operated by the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club.

65th Anniversary celebration
As part of our 65th anniversary celebration, Valley First has issued a Feed the Valley challenge. We are calling on members and employees to donate 6,500 pounds of food to any branch or insurance location by the end of 2012. The Valley First location that contributes the largest weight amount to this total will be given $6,500 to donate to its local food bank. So, please step up, contribute and spread the word for this special initiative.

Regional Office Dessert Day raises more than $300
At their Dessert Day held February 14 at Valley First regional office, staff collected several pounds of food and raised over $300 through bake sales in support of the Penticton Salvation Army Food Bank.

Penticton Vees Fans donate more than 1700 pounds of food
At Valley First's sponsored Vees game night Friday, February 3, 2012 at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, fans donated more than 1700lbs of non-perishable food for the Penticton Salvation Army Food Bank. Thank you for helping to Feed the Valley at a crucial time of year. Go Vees!

For the 2nd year in a row Weyerhaeuser has generously provided the Princeton Crisis Assistance Society with a $2000 grant in support of Feed the Valley.

Lumby Insurance Christmas Dinner Draw raises over $130 and 137 lbs of food
Mona Nicholls was the winner of the Christmas Dinner basket complete with all the trimmings while Nolan and Victoria were colouring contest winners. All proceeds in support of the Lumby Food Bank
Central Loans Administration/Payment Systems Staff Soup Kitchen raises over $100
This staff soup kitchen has raised over $100 since getting underway at the end of last year. All proceeds in support of the Penticton Salvation Army Food Bank.
Great White North Breakfast raises over $300
This marketing department event held December 6 at Valley First Regional Office raised more than $300 and a shopping cart full of food in support of the Penticton Salvation Army Food Bank.
Ten Thousand Villages and Feed the Valley raise over $350
Thousand Villages( 25 Front Street, Penticton and 1470 Harvey at Burtch, Kelowna) in partnership with Valley First raised over $350 Fridays in November, by donating 15% of net sales in support of the Penticton Salvation Army Food Bank.
Valley First Princeton Branch Book Sale Raises over $680
This on-going fundraiser has raised over $680 in support of Princeton Crisis Assistance Society.
