Feed the Valley, a Corporate Citizenship initiative of Valley first, counts upon your support and cooperation and is committed to protecting your privacy while visiting the Feed the Valley website. The FTV web site is a safe place to visit, learn, donate, and advocate.

What Information does the FTV web site collect? Our web server collects domain names but not individual email addresses. Domain names are collected to increase our knowledge on the number of visits the site receives, average time spent on the site, page views, etc. This data is anonymous and collected to ensure the quality and interest of our web site. When you make a donation to Feed the Valley, you are directed to a secure website operated with our partner, Moneris. During the donation process, you will be asked for your personal information such as name, address, email, telephone and any other relevant information.

We use personal information from donors to:
A) process your donation or request;
B) Thank you;
C) send your donation information to the food bank you specify so they can issue a tax receipt,
D) to protect against legal liability.

We may recognize donors for their gifts in the annual report, the newsletter, or other published materials.

How do I request my donor information be kept private? Rest assured that a strict “no tell” policy is a part of our commitment to our donors. We never share, sell, or trade the names or contact information of our donors with any other organization. We honor the privacy and confidentiality of every gift.
